The conference will be held at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB) [link to: http://www.ccib.es/]. The center is located in the Diagonal Mar area, the newest section of Barcelona’s seafront and right next to the heart of the technology and business district (Barcelona 22@). The CCIB is unique in Europe for the impact and originality of its architecture, for the versatility of its column-free meeting halls and spaces and for the superb use it makes of the warm, natural Mediterranean light. With a surface area of 100,000 m2 which includes the Convention Centre building and the Fòrum Auditorium, the CCIB has ample space to welcome up to 15000 visitors and to house the most challenging association, corporate, institutional and artistic events with great success.
The CCIB can be reached by Metro (Line L4, “El Maresme-Forum” station), Tram (Line T4, “El Maresme” and “Forum” stops) and Bus (lines 7, H16). A map of the area is available.
