Technical Sessions
Technical session talk times are 18 minutes including questions and transitions. Session chairs will ensure that all presentations end on time. The room location and talk times for each talk are posted on the technical program website and on the conference app. Presentation slides should be uploaded to the laptop in the session room prior to the beginning of the session from USB drives and the presenter should inform the session chair of their presence prior to the session as well. Only Power Point presentations (.ppt or .pptx) and Adobe Acrobat files (.pdf) will be accepted, as the available software on the laptops in the session rooms includes Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader. The presenter is responsible for knowing how to use the software for their file format. Audio Visual Technicians will be available to provide technical support.
Student Poster Sessions
Presenters should arrive at the session room before the session starts to hang up their poster. Poster panels will have a size of 120cm x 150cm (portrait orientation) and have a printable surface area: 117.5cm x 147.5cm. Posters should be a mixture of a brief text mixed with tables, graphs, pictures, and other presentation formats, summarizing the information concisely and attractively.
